About Me

Expression through artistic and creative means has always been a big part of my life.  While age and personal experience bring constant changes, I strive to find beauty in the world, whether that be in the love found with family and friends or my love of nature and the overwhelming sense of awe to be seen in every life.  Sharing our passions is reflected in our mission with BUCK and OLIVER.  We work to find valuable and beautiful treasures, while also being able to sit and feel appreciation and joy in these simple things.  That is the comfort we wish to bring to people.  Being able to express yourself through the collections that you have gathered or the pieces that you enjoy and find comfort and pride in them. 

Life is busy here at BUCK and OLIVER, with five amazing kids and three dogs, so comfort is key in all the chaos.  We are located in the Mid-Atlantic region and use many available resources in finding items that seem unique and fine, without feeling too stuffy.  Whether you have a large family as well or are starting out in the world with your first apartment, we want to be able to provide something that sits with you and has function or shines a light in your living space.  We all deserve some comfort, and home is where we build that feeling.  We are happy to share a little bit of that comfort with you and hope that you feel loved and cared for in the spaces that you build for the ones that you love, including yourself.
